Welcome Mindful Minds!

Miss T, here!

Lake Louise, Alberta

Welcome to my blog!

I’m a former educator of tiny humans.
Current educator of big humans. While I no longer educate humans in the classroom, I choose to educate them through my writing!

I’m passionate about health and wellness and love diving into the topic of mental health – and positive mental health practices like mindfulness!
I’m on a mission to share with the world my experiences, resources and some lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Follow me here, on my journey as an educator pursuing my dream of bringing mindfulness to children, their families and the educators in their lives.

With love & gratitude,
Miss T.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is defined as the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something... that something can be anything! Getting out of our heads and into the ‘now’.
We can apply Mindfulness all throughout our days. Mindfulness happens when we are focusing our attention on the present moment – using all 5 of our senses. We are fully aware and in acceptance of our thoughts and feelings, understanding that we have thoughts but we are not our thoughts. Mindfulness brings peace and mental clarity into our lives. It allows us to have more compassion for ourselves and others..

They aren’t little.”
